Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on Wednesday 13th May 2026, 6.30pm in Anwick Community Centre, River Lane, Anwick.
1.Attendance:- Cllr. E Coulson Chairman, Cllr. M Head Vice Chairman, Cllr. T Curtis, Cllr. L Curtis, Cllr. J Head, Jeanne Flanagan Clerk to Anwick Parish Council, Cllr. D East for LCC and fifteen residents.
2. Apologies:- Cllr. M Robertson
3. Minutes of the previous meeting held on Tuesday 13th May 2025:- Were AGREED as a true record, then signed and dated by the Chair. The Clerk to include on the Anwick Parish Council website.

4. Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman:- The Clerk asked for nominations of a Chairman. It was PROPOSED by Cllr. T Curtis and SECONDED by Cllr. J Head that Cllr. E Coulson continues with the post of Chairman. The Clerk then asked for nominations of a Vice Chair, It was PROPOSED by Cllr. T Curtis and SECONDED by Cllr. J Head that Cllr. M Head continues with the post of Vice Chairman.
5. Confirmation of Asset Register:- A copy of the Asset Register had already been sent to the Cllrs, which now included the cost of the Community Centre, figure was taken from the insurance policy. The final total was £341.638. The paper was AGREED by all, then signed and dated by the Chairman. The Clerk to include on the Anwick parish Council website.

6. Review of the Council’s Policies and Procedures:- A copy of this paper had already been sent to the Cllrs. The paper was AGREED, then signed and dated by the Chairman. The Clerk to include on the Anwick Parish Council website.
7. Chair’s Report:- The Chairman read out the yearly report which covered The Community Centre, Grass Cutting, Contributions, Outside area of the Community Centre, Local Councillors, Finance and The Future. The Chairman signed and dated the report, the Clerk to include on the Anwick Parish Council website.

8. Additional Financial Papers:- An amended copy of the Anwick Parish Council Financial statement as at 31st March 2026 has been produced which was AGREED by all, then signed and dated by the Chairman.
Also produced was the paper titled Anwick Parish Council Income and Expenditure – Year to 31st March 2026. This was AGREED by all then signed and dated by The Chair. The Clerk to include both papers onto the Anwick Parish Council website.
