July 2021 Minutes
Minutes of Anwick Parish Council meeting held on Tuesday 6th July 2021 at 6.30pm in Anwick Community Centre, River Lane, Anwick.
In attendance:- Cllr. T Curtis Chair, Cllr. E Coulson Vice Chair, Cllr. L Curtis, Cllr. M Head for NKDC, Jeanne Flanagan Clerk to Anwick Parish Council. R Coulson and M Jacobs residents of Anwick, Cllr. A Key for Lincolnshire County Council.
1. Apologies:- No apologies were received, it was noted Cllr. R Greetham did not attend and no apologies were received.
2. To receive any declarations of interest and to consider for dispensation in relation to DPis. None were received.
Welcome and congratulations was extended to Cllr. Andrew Key, newly elected Councillor for Lincolnshire County Council.
3. Notes of the AGM meeting held on Wednesday 28th May 2021 – already emailed to the Councillors - were AGREED as a true record, signed and dated by the Chair.
4. Moy Park – The Clerk read out the details of a report already emailed to the Councillors. Approved planning permission has now been given to build a Liquid Natural Gas [LNG] facility on site, in order to change the lorries from diesel to LNG.
A de-watering green initiative in respect of the bi-product effluent will be processed through the system will be in ‘cake form’ which goes into bio anaerobic digestions plant, then back into energy.
Cllr.A Key referred to a resident has reported lorries obstructing the highway queuing into Moy Park premises near to Anwick Drive entrance. The Clerk and Cllr. L Curtis to take this up with Moy Park.

Cllr. M Head advised about the Renewable Energy grants and will liaise with the Clerk.
POST MEETING NOTE:- The grants facility has now stopped.
5. Magna House – The Clerk has tried to contact the owners by email and by telephone, but no response was received. Cllr. E Coulson will email in order to achieve good working relationships.

6. Waste bin installation – The Clerk has purchased a red waste bin and liaised with NKDC who installed it and will maintain the emptying of the bin. A new sign ‘Rights of Way’ has also been erected. It is hoped this will deter vehicles using the path and reduction of rubbish.
7. Speedwatch – Following discussion it was noted that more volunteers are needed to form a team. The contact is Dave Mitchell for updated training. Cllr. M Head and his wife volunteered their support.
8. Pedestrian Crossing Main Road Anwick Result – Following on from a recent traffic survey undertaken by Lincolnshire County Council, the results were very disappointing as hardly any people cross the road where the survey took place. It was suggested to request another survey in the autumn/spring at the site where people actually cross the road. The Clerk to send a copy of the survey to Cllr. A Key who will bring this up with the Highways Manager.
