ANWICK PARISH COUNCIL

Minutes of Anwick Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 2nd December 2021, 6.30pm in Anwick Community Centre, River Lane, Anwick, Lincs.

In attendance:- Cllr. T Curtis Chair, Cllr. E Coulson Vice Chair, Cllr. L Curtis, Cllr. R Greetham

1.   Apologies for absence and reasons given – There were no apologies.

2.   To receive any declarations of interest and to consider for dispensation in relation to DPis. There were no declarations.

3.   Notes of the Anwick Parish Council meeting held on 14th October 2021 – already emailed to the Councillors – These were AGREED as a true record and the Chair signed and dated them. The Clerk to include on the Anwick Parish Council website.

4.   Magna House update – Cllr. E Coulson had contacted Magna House regarding the trees overhanging onto the Main Road.  It was suggested that a representative from Magna House is invited to our meeting.

5.   Anwick Community Centre update – Regular bookings are now being received, including Taekwon every week. Also the Christmas Bingo event raised £400 which has gone to St. Edith’s church. The spreadsheet shows the regular payments received. Also 

6.   Grass cutting contract 2022- It was AGREED that the contract for grass cutting of the play park and playing field, plus hedge cutting will be renewed to CJP Garden Services at a cost of £1770.00. The Clerk to produce AN AGREEMENT for 12 month contract.

7.   NALC support to M Head- Cllr. M Head requested the Council’s support with his nomination to the NALC election committee. It was AGREED that the Council fully support his application.

8.   Community Infrastructure Levy [CIL] Report to NKDC- The Clerk reported since the distribution of the agenda, she has received confirmation that a report to NKDC stating how the CIL monies had been spent to be sent by end of December 2022.

9.   Finance – Balance as at end November 2021- A spreadsheet has already been distributed to the Councillors, which were AGREED then signed and dated by the Chair. The Clerk referred to the forthcoming Precept for 2022/23 and asked what the Council would like to achieve. Suggestions was fencing around the play park/playing field and replacement kitchen in the Community Centre.

10.   Any Other Business- 

10.1   An email had been received by a neighbour nearby to a property in Forman’s Lane having an extension fitted. The original plans showed a flat roof, which is now a pitch roof. The advice given was to log an objection with NKDC Planning Department and take photos of work already started.

10.2   Cllr. A Key spoke about Public Protection Board and accidents on the roads have three appear on the app , to oppose use phone and give three words FE/Amb.

11.   Date, time and venue of next meeting – Wednesday 26th January 2022, 6.30pm in Anwick Community Centre.
