DRAFT Minutes of Anwick Parish Council meeting held on Wednesday 23rd April 2025, 6.30pm in Anwick Community Centre, River Lane, Anwick.
 
In attendance:- Cllr. E Coulson Chair, Cllr. M Head Vice Chair, Cllr. T Curtis, Cllr. L Curtis, Cllr. M Corbett, Jeanne Flanagan Clerk to Anwick Parish Council and members of the public.
 
Cllr. E Coulson thanked the residents attending the meeting.
 
1. Apologies:- Cllr. M Robertson
2. To receive any declarations of interest for dispensation in relation to DPI’s – There were none received.
3. Minutes of Anwick Parish Council meeting held on Wednesday 12th March 2025- Were AGREED as a true record, then signed and dates by the Chair. The Clerk to include on the Anwick Parish Council website.

4. Reports
(i) Reports from Cllr. Mervyn Head for NKDC – He advised that NKDC are classed as CONSULTEE the same as the Parish Council. Once the application goes to the Planning Committee then as a Ward Cllr. He is allowed five minutes to stress the view from the village and residents. He will clarify whether the public can speak but can attend with placards. There will be chance for the Parish Council to comment at Lincs County Council. 
The Planning Application has now been extended to 30th May 2025.
5. Clerk’s correspondence – She had nothing to report.
6. Parish Newsletter – Due to the Biogas Plant application, at present it has been put on hold until we have something to celebrate.
7. Community Centre
(i) Defibrillator – This equipment will be sited on the wall, adjacent to the front doors once the electrician has been in touch to arrange installation.
(ii) Update from Anwick Community Fundraisers VE Day -  Discussion has been around having an afternoon buffet and music event. Once arranged it will be well advertised.
(iii) Refill project – The Parish Council have brought in common household products in order that residents can bring their empty containers and have them refilled at a lower cost than purchasing from the supermarkets. The cost will be considerably less and is more eco friendly. These can be purchased at the monthly coffee mornings and every two weeks on a Wednesday morning from 10-12.
8. Accounts – The Income and Expenditure sheet had already been emailed to the Cllrs. which was AGREED as a true record, then signed and dated by the Chair. The Clerk to include on Anwick Parish Council website.

9. Update on Stream Bioenergy – This will be discussed at the end of the meeting.
10. Date, time and venue of next meeting – The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held on Tuesday 13th May 2025, 6.30pm – all residents are invited to attend.
Next Anwick Parish Council meeting to be held on Wednesday 11th June 2025, 6.30pm, again all residents are invited to attend.
